This week’s Country 105 Local Hero is…Sherry Cheetham
Sherry is a beacon of kindness, compassion, and community spirit, and her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact deserves to be celebrated. Sherry possesses a heart of gold, evident in her diverse contributions to our community. From baking cakes and pies for no reason and dropping it off at her neighbours homes or someone else she feels needs a pick me up. To actively participating in fundraising for local organizations, volunteering on committees, and offering a helping hand wherever it is needed. Sherry has initiated many fundraisers to support her friend Liz’s MS walk. Foodbank, Shift, Stevenson Memorial Hospital, My Sister Place, and South Simcoe Theatre. She has served on the Beeton Legion Board of Directors and the Beeton Agricultural Society. Sherry’s contributions have left an indelible mark on our community, and she is truly deserving of Local Hero recognition.
