The Town of Orangeville has announced Ed Brennan is stepping down as CAO.
In a release, officials say Brennan’s decision allows the town to hire a permanent, full-time Chief Administrative Officer.
He was hired in December 2008 as Facilities Manager before moving on to be the Director of Parks and Recreation in 2013.
In 2015 he moved over to the CAO role on an interim basis before being permanently hired a year later.
Jennifer Innis took over as Interim CAO when Brennan went on medical leave.
Mayor Lisa Post says they continue to wish Ed well as he remains on medical leave and thank him for his many dedicated years of service to the community.
