The voter turnout information is out from the municipal election for some towns in the region.
This time around, the Town of Shelburne had a voter turnout of 36.2 percent — the number of eligible voters was 5,823 and 2,110 people voted.
In 2018 in Shelburne, the voter turnout was 39 percent, with 4,876 eligible, and 1,879 who voted.
In the election this year in Orangeville, voter turnout was 26.9 percent, with 22,111 registered and 5,995 votes cast, and in 2018 the voter turnout was 38.8 percent.
In New Tecumseth this year, the voter turnout was 34.3 percent, 31,286 eligible voters and 10,708 ballots cast.
In Caledon this time around voter turnout was 31.7 percent, not far off from what it was in 2018, which was 32.3 percent.
Of 56,538 eligible electors, 17,939 voted.
