Nottawasaga have charged two people following a drug trafficking investigation that began in the Fall of 2024.
Between April 30th and May 1st, police conducted searches in Barrie, Orangeville, Brampton, Churchill, and Niagara Falls.
In those searches, police seized more than 2kg of cocaine and more than 100 grams of fentanyl with a street value of more than $192,000.
A 37-year-old man from Orangeville, and a 32-year-old woman from Barrie are facing charges related to drug possession and trafficking.
Both were held for a bail hearing in Barrie.
