A new deputy chief has joined the Caledon Fire and Emergency Services team.
Officials say Jeff Fairbarn has been hired to fill the role of deputy chief.
Fairbarn is currently serving as Fire Chief of Adjala-Tosorontio Fire and Emergency Services and brings with him more than 14 years of experience.
Over that time he’s worked for Innisfil, the Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute, Greater Toronto Airports Authority , and Richmond Hill.
He also spent a little over a year with Caledon Fire as Captain and Training Officer.
Fairbarn will assume his new role as Deputy Chief on Monday, December 18th.
