Transit is expanding in Shelburne.
Starting Saturday Apr 29th Grey Transit Route or GTR, will have increased service and more bus service stops.
There are now 14 weekend bus service stops in Shelburne, with routes between 10 am and just before 3 pm.
The stops (in the photo below) include Gordon and Main Street West, Cedar Street, Greenwood Street and Jelly and Simon, with a turn around heading out of town at the Centre Dufferin Rec Complex.
The weekend transit in Shelburne provided by GTR is comprised of ten runs each day.
The cost per ride is $5 for adults, $4.50 for seniors (55 years of age and older), and free for children under 5.
The weekend service will now allow riders to wait at any of the 14 weekend stops and no pre-booking is required.
