Nottawasaga OPP have laid charges after complaints about dirt bikes in Adjala-Tosorotio.
Around 11 am Monday August 8th, officers were called by citizens about dirt bikes seen travelling on Concession Road 3.
Two riders were stopped and charged with driving with no license and having no plates.
Police say there are some requirements in order to ride legally within public riding areas including having a green or blue license plate, insurance and registration, a trail permit sticker, and an approved helmet must be worn.
They remind riders that dirt bikes are not permitted on roadways, in parks, community centres, schools, conservation areas and stipulated walking trials.
They add a dirt bike with a blue and white street licence plate can ride on the roadway and trails.
