A special “Little Library” has opened in Orangeville.
The free library made out of wood is offering donated books for all ages, where the community is encouraged to take a book to read, and leave a book for others.
Two students – Trinity Allen and Victoria Swanson – started the project as part of their involvement with a program at Orangeville District Secondary School.
They teamed up with the Orangeville Library’s Teen Advisory Group to create the Little Library and funds for materials to make the box and donated books came from the library itself.
The Little Library sits behind the portable building in Orangeville Lions Club Sports Park on Diane Drive.
