Despite the end of classes last week, tensions are still high among parents and secondary students in Shelburne.
One week ago, a fight at the school that officials say was racial in nature took place at Centre Dufferin District High School.
Police were then called to the school to monitor things on Tuesday, and by Friday the school asked students to attend the last day of classes remotely – due to information received about a possible threat.
As for now the activity is being handled as an internal school matter and school administration officials are conducting ongoing investigations
It’s exam week this week and so far they are continuing on schedule.
The school says any student who feels that they need an alternate time to write their exams can contact the Vice-Principal or the guidance office.
