An incident this week as Centre Dufferin District High School in Shelburne, that was racial in nature, prompted some police activity at the school.
Yesterday officers were called to the school after a fight had broken out Monday that according to the school, started after the use of an anti-Black racial slur and anti-Black racist language.
Principal Adam Rowden issued a statement saying there is no place for hate and racism at Centre Dufferin, and that they are addressing the issue immediately.
He says those involved will be held accountable for their actions.
Yesterday OPP were called after the school was made aware of potential threats but they were unable to substantiate a threat.
