Stevenson Memorial Hospital is taking a phased approach to lifting visitor restrictions.
An announcement from the Alliston hospital says as of today, inpatients will be allowed two designated visitors.
Officials say that includes one designated visitor per day unless extenuating circumstances between 12pm and 8pm.
For surgical patients, they’ll be allowed one designated support person post-procedure to support the patient when they’re discharged.
Patients in labour and delivery will be allowed to have one support person and that person will have to be the same person for the duration of the visit.
And emergency department and outpatients will also be allowed to have one visitor or support person unless there are extenuating circumstances.
