The Orangeville RAM Rodeo is back.
One of the summer’s biggest events has taken a backseat during the pandemic, after being a huge part of the Headwaters region for over 10 years.
The event will be back August 28th and 29th, 2021 at the Orangeville Fairgrounds, with a full show.
Rodeo Tour Promoter Ross Millar says it’s never been a more important year to bring the community together, and they’re going to do it safely with all the protocols.
Millar says they have consulted with government and health officials before bringing the rodeo back, there will be masks and they will have as many spectators as they can outside, within the guidelines that are set out.
Millar says all the usual events will be back this year, along with the Canadian Cowgirls Precision Drill Team.
This year they will be helping to raise funds and awareness for the Tuff Therapeutic Riding Foundation, which provides riding lessons for at-risk youth in Ontario.
