A new testing clinic is opening in the region next week.
The Dufferin Area Family Health Team is opening a COVID 19, Cold and Flu Clinic on Monday November 2nd.
It’s open to anyone living in the Dufferin-Caledon area showing cold, flu, or COVID 19 symptoms where they can get testing and assessments.
An appoinment must be booked ahead of time by calling 1-888-530-1319.
Phones are answered Monday to Thursday from Noon to 8 pm, with the clinic open those days from 4 pm to 8 pm.
There are a limited number of same-day appointments.
The clinic is at 1 Elizabeth Street on the lower level of the Canadian Mental Health Association Office in Orangeville.
Patients should come to the COVID 19, Cold and Flu Clinic if they:
– Are experiencing fever (temperature of 37.8 C or above)
– Have a worsening: Cough, shortness of breath, sore throat or hoarse voice, runny nose, or sneezing, or nasal congestion
– Loss of taste or smell
– Pink eye/redness of eye(s)
– Nausea and vomiting, or diarrhea, or abdominal pain
– Flu-like illness
– Need to see a doctor
– Are 6 months of age and older
