Southern Georgian Bay opp have charged a driver from Elmvale after a patrol with an Automated Licence Plate Reader.
The officer was carrying out traffic enforcement on Simcoe County Road 6 on Tuesday.
The ALPR spotted a driver who was under suspension. The 22-year-old driver is also charged with following to closely, failure to stop for a stop sign, and failure to signal a lane change after police were able to stop the vehicle near Lafontaine Road.
In another traffic related investigation, an officer conducting traffic enforcement on Baseline Road in Tiny Township an July 14, stopped a different vehicle for a speed related offence.
As a result the 35-year old male driver of Toronto was cited for a number of Highway Traffic Act driving offences resulting in a 30 day drivers licence suspension.
