A third person has been charged in connection with a missing persons case from 2023.
Nottawasaga OPP have been investigating the disappearance of 34-year-old Derek Perry of New Tecumseth.
Perry was reported missing two years ago, with people concerned for his well-being.
During their investigation, police found that the missing person’s case was now deemed a homicide.
Two people, a 30-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were charged earlier this month in connection to the investigation.
A third person, a 24-year-old from Tottenham, is now also charged in the case. The two men are charged with 2nd degree murder and indignity to a body, while the woman is charged with indignity to a body and accessory after the fact.
