Students in Simcoe County involved in skilled trades and apprenticeship program will be honoured next week.
The Simcoe County District School Board is hosting the second annual Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program Night of Celebration.
The evening is meant to recognize the achievements of Grade 12 students who have successfully signed as registered apprentices.
Grade 12 students who are registered in OYAP, along with their families, friends, and apprenticeship employers will celebrate together on Tuesday, June 10th.
Attendees will hear from guest speaker Andrea Lancaster, SCDSB graduate, OYAP registrant, and tradesperson, who will share her apprenticeship experience.
