The Orangeville OSPCA is welcoming some new dogs that will soon be up for adoption.
The four dogs, currently named Sally, Doc, Finn, and Pepper, came from the shelter system in the U.S. in North Carolina.
Centre Manager Dawn Lyons says they are currently going through all their necessary medical checks, and very shortly within the next week they will be posted on their website when they’re ready for their forever homes.
Lyons says there are many animal shelters in the United States that are at or nearing capacity so they don’t have space to help any more animals that show up on their doorstep.
The Ontario SPCA is trying to help by bringing them to Canada to help them get adopted into a home.
