Two doctors in Alliston were recently the subject of separate investigations.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario investigated Dr. Nick Dortaj and Dr. Arthur Corbin Hendrick.
On the CPSO website, a College investigation was conducted into whether Dr. Dortaj engaged in professional misconduct.
Following that, it says Dr. Dortaj will engage in professional education in the prescribing of opioids.
Meanwhile, Dr. Hendrick was under investigation in regards to his opioid prescribing.
Dr. Hendrick resigned from the College and has agreed never to apply or reapply for registration as a physician in Ontario or any other jurisdiction.
