Water Tower Maintenance Work Begins

Shelburne | by Jill Young
The Town of Shelburne will have water restrictions in place during maintenance project.

Work on the water tower in Shelburne has begun.

The repairs and maintenance project will be done between 7 am and 5 pm weekdays, with the possibility it could happen on weekends too.

The water storage tower will be taken offline between October 23rd and November 12th.

Officials say residents should experience normal water pressure conditions as long as restrictions are followed.

Mandatory water restrictions will require residents not to water the lawn or fill a hot tub.

Voluntary restrictions include getting car washes or using appliances in the home -- like the washing machine or dishwasher -- during peak hours of 6 to 9 am and 6 to 9 pm.
