A sunken motorcycle has police asking for the publics help in finding the owner.
South Simcoe Police were called around 6:35 Tuesday evening to a home on Morris Road near the Holland Canal.
A resident called told officers he smelled gasoline.
When the man went to investigate he found a motorcycle submerged in the canal.
Officers found the bike with its lights still on, and a wet set of footprints heading south, away from the scene.
Police asked nearby residents for information with one saying they seen a man cutting through her property.
He's described as a white male with short greyish hair in his 60's.
He was last seen wearing a short black jacket with a large red circle emblem on the back and dark grey jogging pants.
