Terriers Even Series with Kings

2 former Penetang players contribute in Orillia's win.


A pair of former Penetang Kings contributed to beat their old team.

Dallin Blunt scored while Andrew North made 31 saves as the Davenport Orillia Terriers defeated the Kings 4-1 on Saturday night.
 
The win squares the best-of-seven PJHL Carruthers Division quarterfinal series at 1-1.
 
17 saves that North made came in the first period with Orillia up 1-0.
 
The Terriers were clinging to a 2-1 lead heading into the third period.
 
That was where Jake Shaw scored 1:40 into the period followed Blunt's power play marker with 2:46 left to put the game away.
 
Kyle Fischer and Shane Carroll also scored for the Terriers.
 
Ben Sly had the lone goal for the Kings while former Terrier Andrew Couling stopped 28 shots in the loss.
 
Game 3 of this series goes this Friday night in Penetanguishene.
