A home in Orangeville has been officially designated as an Ontario Heritage property.
Sheila and Paul Miron recently received a heritage plaque for their home at 330 Blind Line.
The home is circa 1840 and is a Georgian style house constructed from local rubblestone.
Samuel Montgomery, who immigrated from Ireland in 1797, bought the land and built the house.
Heritage Committee member Lynda Addy and town councillors Sylvia Bradley and Don Kidd were on hand to present the plaque.
