Armstrong's Family Thanks Woman for Saving Him

Innisfil | by Ken Hashizume
Ken Armstrong was missing for two days.

The family of an Alcona man who went missing last week is crediting their guardian angel in finding him.

Members of Ken Armstrong's family met with Sally Schutz at the South Simcoe Police North Detachment.

Schutz was the woman who found Armstrong in a wooded area off the 9th Line last Wednesday morning.

There was a massive search for the 75-year-old Armstrong after he wandered away from his home last Monday.

Armstrong suffers from dementia and is diabetic.

Despite being away from home for a long period of time, he was found to be in good health.

He was taken to hospital where he is recovering.
